SixTree exists so that Brazilian sustainability innovations become companies capable of creating, retaining and protecting value over the long term. Start-ups founded to lead the response to the climate crisis, in fields such as agtech, greentech, climate tech, biotech and deep tech, must build the governance, strategic design and business architecture required to support the innovation they carry.

In this context, founders tend to lose value in three ways, and rarely for the reasons they imagine:

Numerous start-ups reach a growth ceiling because the daily operation stays concentrated within one or two individuals. This is a classic early-stage setup: the company was built around the product rather than the infrastructure needed to sustain scale. While critical knowledge remains tacit and centred on the founder, expansion merely brings chaos, operational fatigue, and dependency.
